Prey Review and Reactions (Footage From Twitch)
1Prey came out May 5th, 2017 and it took Twitch and the gaming community by storm. The hype is well deserved however as it is clearly one of the better games in its genre to hit the market in recent memory.
This game received 4 (or even 4.5) cogs out of 5.
You'll like Prey as a game if you like suspenseful action games like Resident Evil or Tomb Raider, but can control your urges to pump everything full of lead. Sorry Gears of War fans, but there's limited ammo.
Prey comes with a disclaimer that it could cause seizures, which is seemingly plausible, and it's got a highly immersive 3D environment which will reward you for exploring it, hopefully seizure free.
Full disclosure my review may be mildly biased towards overly because I don't like FPS games, but everyone I've talked to about this game seems as enthusiastic as I am.
You won't like this game if you scare easily, can't handle suspense, don't like puzzling your way through a highly immersive world with little support or can't aim well.
