Prince of Persia (SNES) - Shortcuts in Levels 11 and 12
Prince of Persia is a game written and programmed by Jordan Mechner for the Apple IIe in 1989. Its most well-known version, the DOS one, was released a year later. Following that, the game was ported to nearly every home console in existence. Some ports turned out good (SNES, TurboGrafx-16), others not so much (SMS/GG, NES, GB).
This video shows tremendous shortcuts that can be taken in the SNES version's Levels 11 and 12, done simply by dangling long enough from the right ledges, thus falling one floor down and one tile forward to another floor. In fact, I'm so accustomed to these shortcuts, I don't even know how the levels are supposed to be beaten legit.
