About Game: Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time is 2003 action-adventure platformer video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Windows-based PCs, GameBoy Advance and Java-based mobile phones. It is the fourth mainline game of the Prince Of Persia video game series which serves as the its reboot and thus has no direct ties to any of the earlier games in the series, namely 1989's Prince Of Persia, 1993's Prince Of Persia 2: The Shadow And The Flame and 1999's Prince Of Persia 3D, also being the first game in the series developed after Ubisoft acquired the rights to the series in 2001. However, aside from its reception that led to it winning multiple awards in 2003 and 2004, Sands Of Time is also notable for being credited with successfully reviving the interest in Prince Of Persia series after years of its stagnation and for having spawned an background of another one of Ubisoft's flagship series, Assassin's Creed, whose first game started development as Prince Of Persia spin-off. Due to this success, Sands Of Time received three more games set within its continuity; Warrior Within in 2004, The Two Thrones in 2005 and The Forgotten Sands in 2010 as well as an live-action movie adaptation that same year with Sands Of Time itself also being set to receive an full-scale remake for modern consoles and PCs that was originally announced in 2020 for 2021 release but following multiple delays, is scheduled for 2026 release as of March 2025.

As Prince moves to open the container, Maharaja's daughter tries to stop him but is held back. However, the moment the container is unsealed, sand-like substance seeps out from within and engulfs everyone in the room, causing them to turn into monsters with Prince, vizier and Maharaja's daughter being the only ones unaffected.
