Gameplay is severely changed from the original Prince of Persia 2. Combat now has combos that can be unlocked. There is a sneak mechanic if the enemy is facing another direction. Chests and money bags are scattered around the levels. There are also many more potions which can be picked up and used when wanted. Level layouts are also redesigned. There are new enemies, and their behavior is also altered. skeletons for example can be killed here with combat, unlike in the original where traps had be used to defeat them.
