Princess Peach Showtime! is the second game to star the "not-so-damsel-in-distress" on a brand new adventure featuring a whole new cast alongside a brand new part of the world of this franchise. Princess Peach is invited to a show in the Sparkle Theater when suddenly a new wicked villain going by the name "Grape" corrupts the stage to put up a horrifying attraction. With the help of a Sparkle sprite named "Stella," her and the Princess must return the plays to what they once were.
So this is a fairly different Let's Play for me, but as one would say, the show must go on. I definitely wanted Nintendo to explore more of the cast in interesting ways: Luigi's Mansion has always been a classic to me, and I've always seen Peach as a lot more than the damsel. Because of the movie's success and her being one of the main characters in the spotlight, this is just the next logical step to get her on set! (Am I killing you with the wordplay? probably)
Thus, the first chapter of this playthrough basically goes through the whole introduction of the game, really diving in almost immediately with the world building. We then get set to the play of the first stage set!

I may mention it in the next episode, but it's a confirmed fact that Super Mario Bros. 3 is meant to be an entire stage play in of itself. So, does that mean that this same theater played out those events? Hmm...
