Technically, since we can't sell power from the power station, this is utterly pointless. We would, strictly speaking, be better off just using the power station for everything that needs permanent power, or investing in batteries.

PS - after further testing, I found that power station power can be exported too and made an update video which is the next in the playlist.

However, it will expand your confidence with using logic circuits in Prison Architect to control things.

The new "Going Green" DLC and "Glasshouse" free update has been released, so I did an experiment to see if you could use the normal power station as a backup for solar panels when it goes dark.

This is how to do that.
