Game: Super Mario Galaxy (1, not 2)

Basically a speedrun of the "Bouncing Down Cake Lane" mission in Toy Time Galaxy. The catch? I don't use the Spring power-up (not to mention I'm using Mario, who doesn't jump as high as Luigi). This is really the best I could get, as optimizing it anymore would just be agonizing. Here's a little rundown:

Section #1: The Wall Jump Cakes
Apparently, when the game came out, this was considered impossible with springless Mario (Luigi had better luck, though). I wasn't aware of this until like over an hour ago, and two hours before that, I single-handedly found out how to do the jump using Mario; even doing it consistently (lol). No flaws here. (Cool little tidbit: As far as I know, this is the ONLY video on YouTube that displays the possibility of Mario being able to do this. :D)

Section #2: Chocolate Bars
Very nicely done. The long jump to the first bar went smoothly, the jump over the second one went well enough, and the jump down to the plate/spinning cake went without a hitch.

Section #3: Plate/Spinning Cake
Nearly optimal. Went almost perfectly. The long jump to the back side of the wall was good and the wall jump to the sling star was good enough.

Section #4: Ice Cream Alley
Remarkable, for the most part. Lollipop platforming was flawless (for me, at least) and the ice skating section went without fail. My entry into cannon probably could have went a bit better, though.

Section #5: Birthday Cake
A little sloppy. I ALWAYS make stupid mistakes on this damn part. Didn't go very fast and one of the candles required two spins; pretty good, otherwise.

Section of Hell: The Boss
My fucking God, I hate this last part. This is easily the section I'm worst at, and it shows. I got hit twice, and the first hit on the boss took two attempts and a little fumbling, but then it went pretty well from then on. I somehow failed at the jump to the star on my first attempt, embarrassingly enough.

Yeah, I'll probably be doing an RB Vocal vid tomorrow. I'm just as impatient about my drums as you guys apparently are.
