I generally hate when you're not able to quicksave and forced to save when you quit the game, but good thing there's no quicksave when there are script problems though. I also prefer when games let you approach things from different perspectives, I know it's not Deus Ex, but it would have been neat to be able to both use computer to unlock the ladder / use powerful fist / jump on boxes, like in Half-Life, as the game is also an assumed homage to Half-Life...
This game got good art direction, I'ld be happy to see a crossover, as a mod, of Ion Fury with Phantom Fury's graphics ( not saying Ion Fury isn't beautiful, but it is way more eye demanding, due to 2.5D )
That said I love being able to play with Shelly, and nowadays it is way less Rare ( I had to do it ) to see a female protagonist like in Perfect Dark, but it's always a pleasure anyway, playing violent games, to have some women involved in the process, making it more acceptable I guess ๐
And quotes...I love them ! Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, Blood, Ion Fury, Phantom Fury, SIN, any games with them in general I'm down for it ๐
Lastly, I also confess I find Shelly way more interesting as a character than Duke, a pure blasphemy, I know...but talking about the holy trilogy ( Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, Blood ), I always prefered Caleb, then Lo Wang, to Duke. The sadistic, the obscene, the brutal. If you're that brutal, why you even talking in the first place ? I know they're all clichรฉs, but still...
Regardless I like him anyway, but not that much...
