I've had the awesome professional Proel LDF410 Condenser Microphone for over a year but never had the means to power it until now. It requires 48v of Phantom Power, there's a lot of options out there, many requiring at least 2 cables and some even requiring a lot of money.
Then I found the StudioSeries SSX1 power supply. It's powered via USB and plugs directly into your microphone. It's incredibly cheap too depending on where you find it.
I found this on Ebay for £20. I got the Mic for £30. So all I spent was £50 for this professional setup. As you may find, setup can cost around £130 as the mic is £90 on a lot of websites and as seen in the link the power supply is £40.
So definitely shop around, it's a great microphone.
