This version now prohibits ice health drops from stacking health above 200 HP, and undermining the item count. Several gibbing mechanics from weapons such as the shotguns have been nerfed as well. The GitHub download link is their preferred download as it gets fresh updates more often.

The kill count is glitched with the extra monster pack addon, therefore I cannot get 100% kills most of the time. I hope they will fix this.

This megawad is designed to mimic the mapping style of Sandy Petersen, John Romero and Tom Hall. The project was founded by Jason Root (Hellbent) as a community project and later led by a core group consisting of Jacob Zuchowski (ellmo), Sarah Mancuso (esselfortium), Xaser, Jeff Shark (Marnetmar), and Gus Knezevich (Alfonzo) who oversaw the map selection and finalization process. The project also features artwork by Kracov and an optional soundtrack by Mr. Freeze. It was dedicated to a friend of the creators, Mitchell Curtis Keesee (engineer), who unfortunately passed away at 23 in the midst of making maps for the project.
