So - I'll do the short description. The game works ok on slower class of cars - which is similar to RACE07. As with RACE07 the faster cars control becomes harder and that is a challenge for the game devs.

However - I don't know what mechanic they use for steering - All I can say is basically the cars at various points simply don't steer. You can up ratios and change input all you like, the car wheel and input just gets ignored. Its actually super frustrating.
