After the last Pcars video which was a frame rate disaster I have changed some settings in OBS and reduced in game graphics to a point that the game runs reasonably smooth.
Despite having the visuals set lower Pcars still looks absolutely incredible with the DK2 and even though the Oculus rift clearly has room for improvement especially in regards to resolution, in my opinion the experience and nature of the HMD makes a traditional screen seem like an archaic device.
I believe the Oculus Rift CV1 and driving simulators are likely to be the only way anyone will want to play driving games in the future, I know for me that will certainly be the case.
