Project Forza Plus FM2 | Saleen S7R @ Road Atlanta | 1:14.388 [Wheel Gameplay]
What I believe to be the first "alien" gameplay of a Forza game running on the Xenia Xbox 360 Emulator, being driven with a wheel.
Not including the FM2 ISO download, getting everything up and running took about 10 minutes. It's not hard, just lots of "drag this file into that folder and do X." The guide by @DustinEdenYT is perfect and everything worked first try.
Project Forza Plus FM2 was created by @GasandGames213 as a Forza Motorsport 2 mod that makes all of the game's DLC compatible with Xenia, and re-adjusts Career mode to be slightly more open-ended. There are four different "flavors" of the Career database you can install, ranging from the vanilla FM2 experience, to just the grindy elements removed, to a "Sandbox" mod that unlocks access to all cars immediately and prices all cars/upgrades at just 1 CR. There are also some small physics/tire model/upgrades changes as well.
This is driven with a wheel, using X360CE to get Xenia to recognize my G29 as an Xbox pad. A tutorial is linked below, this is what I followed. I'm running 240 degrees in the Logitech profiler and simply disabled the rather aggressive deadzone inside the Forza settings menu.
VSYNC is turned off in the Xenia config file for better FPS. The game loads incredibly quick. On high-detail tracks the app stutters a bit here and there, but goes away the longer you're in the game world. Must be a cache thing.
