Project Indigo - first warp test
This is the first successful zonewarp in Project Indigo. If you're wondering what this means, it's similar to what happens in the game "Planetside" when you step into a warpgate.
What you can't see in this video is all the stuff going on in the background: user-authentication, account registration and account-editing using a central account database, warp-connections defined in the central database too, proper spawnpoint selection based on your target warpgate, etc.
Not very complicated things, but a real problem if you're starting from a basic Torque-engine.
Project Indigo is an MMOFPS project that aims to provide a free alternative to "Planetside", giving the community the ability to make their ideas a reality - instead of having basically no chance to ever see their big ideas in-game.
