Characters Fought:
Bullwinkle (Christian Nunez)
So I was looking for some new websites to download MUGEN characters from and I ended up finding one seemingly worthwile. I didn't find much yet but I got a few little interesting pieces. First up we got this Bullwinkle, who's very reminiscent of the kind of characters WlanmaniaX and BeanFan112 used to make. I'm a little glad somebody's trying to keep the art of these doofy kinds of characters alive. I'll go more into depth with this character in a video that should be up real soon but I thought I'd touch on a few things here. Mostly that Bullwinkle's lanky hurtboxes in the air make him slipping out of air combos more likely than you'd think, and that he seems to waste time at the beginning of the match charging up energy.

King Julian (Kem Zoe Fandom)
Ohohohoho now this guy, this freakin guy. I haven't seen a character with transparency issues this bad in a loooong time. Now I'm assuming this character is a spriteswap completely due to the fact that there's a readme for one "Leo by Camren Springer" in the character's folder. A readme that explicitly asks for people to not make a spriteswap of their character. Anyways, I really want to mention that I'm pretty sure I know where these sprites came from. Does anyone remember those crappy fighting games that you could play on Nickelodeon's website? I forget the name of them but there were at least three iterations, and King Julian feels very likely to have been in any of those. He was one of those side characters that got his own show I'm pretty sure. Feel free to let me know about anything you know about this subject, I'd love to get some closure on this.
