Project Nimbus Part 20: The Missile Storm
0This episode is two mission in one bundled together.
First you play as Skull-1 for the last time as he and Rena are stuck protecting the the floating colonies but the enemies don't attack the civilian targets (for story reasons) so it's really just a defeat all enemies deal with the only notable twist being Akula squad (those russian guys we played as in a couple missions in ACT 2 and 3) show up but aside from one line from Akula-1 they get shot down with little to no fanfare and that's the end of them (unless I'm forgetting them showing up again in a later mission)
after a little big the missiles start flying directly towards your base so it's up to you to stop them and you're probably not going to because of how dang many there. If Alice managed to not get shot down she will help some during this portion but she's a throwaway NPC so whatever.
After a few waves of warcrimes we get to part 2 of the mission piloting the new and improved Akarui Mirai (so we finally have something that can rival Budusheye)
Now missiles will be flying from just about every direction but they go down quite easily and you have both Rena and Skull-1 backing you up which is cool.
