They make both modfiles AND music!
So, the main pain is the proxywalls. They hit the game hard...
Simfile changes:
There's an ssc now to load a lua file instead of an xml file
Visual changes:
The section at 1:28 looks different because notes have full alpha range like the holds (and so I used 0.7 alpha instead of 0.5)
Mod changes:
Uses of 100 reverse become 99.9 to avoid the judgment & combo switching positions
Attempted making drawsize consistent
Added tinyusesminicalc
Attempted trying to make the second proxy wall hurt less with holdgrainmult & less drawsize
Internal changes:
Replaced the Extra Players with Def.NoteFields.
Replaced the multiple mountains & speed lines with ones that get customtexturerect'd & texcoordvelocity'd
Removed a whole bunch of useless math with colors
Added some basezooms
Scaled positions and zooms when possible
Attempted limiting how many of the proxies in the wall get rendered, with questionable results
Used math.modf because some things expect the lua 5.0 modulo behavior :(
Did some wrapperstate positioning madness to get consistent rotating of the proxywalls
Made the dark at the start be at beat -10 to do the initial hide as early as possible
arrowpath becomes notepath
Did some column incrementing
Replicated the extra player noteflashes only happening on the holds via column-specific hidenoteflash
Attempted having the section at 1:27 be metrics-aware
Have problems getting this to work, or want me to convert something to SM5 or OutFox? Let me know!
