They've made a bunch of modfiles, and they're all pretty good!
The main trouble spot was the grid. Scaling sucks. But I made it work, and I think I did a good job making it fit in with the rest of the file.
Visual changes:
That ending hold seems kind of weird.
Mod changes:
Lots of making consistent drawsize
Attempted scaling notepathwidth
Added tinyusesminicalc
Full range dark is used, so values have to change accordingly
Internal changes:
modtimer becomes modtimersong
hidemines becomes stealthmines
Scaled zoom and positioning and fardistz
HiddenRegions are Added on the NoteField
Created two extra grids to extend the center grid for widescreen.
Starts fading out if going beyond two extra columns on a side.
scaling the grid hurts
The notedata tables are just loaded into local variables
Used the Tweens namespace
Dealt with the Polygon to ActorMultiVertex switch a lot.
Merged some TinyZ into Tiny because SM5 behavior.
noteskew becomes NoteSkewX
Incremented stuff
Added some sustains
centered2 becomes centeredpath
arrowpath becomes notepath
did lots of adjusting the extra grids to match up with the animations of the center grid
- I hope at least one person appreciates it
Faded out the BG "cube" since people can have super wide and I don't want it to interfere with the FG squares
modsplines hurt
longboy becomes extendholds
Disabled SM5's notefield fade because it ruins my plans
Turned the nITG AFT into an SM5 AFT.
Have problems getting this to work, or want me to convert something to SM5 or OutFox? Let me know!
