Project: Snowblind on PS3's (PS2 Classics) Software Emulation
Raw capture footage from a PlayStation 3 running Sony's "PS2 Classics" software emulation - hacked to run titles not available on the PlayStation Store. More games tested here: http://bit.ly/2DXC3W4
COMPATIBILITY RATING: 7/10
ISSUES:
• Textures frequently spaz out on semi-distant objects, very distracting but over time you can come to ignore it. Fully playable.
• Later into the game, special effect textures will bug out, swirling around the player as they look around with the analog stick (for example monitor screens, illuminated rails, etc). It's bothersome and if the whole game were like that I'd say this is barely playable. Thankfully this is only a real issue on the last mission of the game.
• Music can on rare occasion cut in and out, with about a second of no music between. This could be due to the game's weird music triggers that I've heard about. I'm not too familiar with the game to know.
This is technically available on every PS3 out there, but Sony decided to restrict it in future models so you'd have to pay for PS2 Classics on the PlayStation Network. Cool, huh?
