PW2 is the long awaited sequel for 2018's beloved boomer shooter. Project Warlock 2 picks up right after the events of the first game. Warlock’s disciples, each bring their own arsenals of skills, perks, unique weapons, and spells to the table, as well as personal reasons to confront their old master.
Levels in the game evolved into vertical, three-dimensional, multi-floored structures, platforms, and buildings that literally elevate the gameplay. Each of the 3 chapters of Project Warlock II consists of 12 levels, each one more vertical and intricate than in the original game. Enemy sprites are now 3D pre-rendered, with tons of frames of animation for a really cool effect.
While there are enough reasons to prefer PW1 or PW2 over the other, they are very different games and each one will appeal more to different people. For me, I pick this sequel, PW1 didn't really click for me.

PW2 es la esperada secuela del querido boomer shooter de 2018. Project Warlock 2 continúa justo después de los eventos del primer juego. Los discípulos del Warlock aportan cada uno su propio arsenal de habilidades, ventajas, armas únicas y hechizos, además de motivos personales para enfrentarse a su antiguo maestro.
Los niveles del juego han evolucionado a estructuras verticales, tridimensionales, con múltiples pisos, plataformas y edificios que literalmente elevan el gameplay. Cada uno de los 3 capítulos de Project Warlock II consta de 12 niveles, cada uno más vertical e intrincado que en el juego original. Los sprites de los enemigos ahora están pre-renderizados en 3D, con montones de cuadros de animación que generan un efecto visual muy atractivo.
Si bien hay razones válidas para preferir PW1 o PW2, son juegos bastante distintos y cada uno atraerá a diferentes tipos de jugadores. En mi caso, me quedo con esta secuela; PW1 nunca terminó de convencerme.
