Prior to Legacy this was Beetle Adventure Racing/HSV Adventure Racing Status:

PAL versions (E)/(A): RSP unstable (SP DMA errors, crashing in rsp.dll, unhandled opcodes etc), no fix known, use the (U)/(J) NTSC ROMs, those seem stable.
video
cars look too dark in v1.6 plugin, also sky problems - you may get better results from v1.5.2 plugin. however, some extra effects work in v1.6 that don't in previous, so take your pick or try a 3rd party plugin.
