9I built a "proper" hovercraft which is not affected by the weight offset bug.
It seems even if the tweak is "working as intended" it will not have intended consequences. Quite the contrary actually.
The devs might've blocked access to certain unreachable places but with this climb buff the players wikll simply find new ones and use those.
