I'm considering this one a "bonus" video for the project, on grounds that Applica sort of exists outside the normal flow of the game. She's not guaranteed to spawn at any point in a given playthrough, and you're never required to fight her for a rank or story progression.
More importantly, special thanks to Kalieum and fireair100 for effectively rekindling my interest in this game, and an additional huge thanks to Kalieum for warning me what I was going to be up against when attempting this boss...I had all those Antineedles in my inventory for a reason. If you haven't beaten her for yourself yet, I wish you the very best of luck, my friend. It can be done.
Side note: In a twist that's either hilarious or tragic, depending on how you look at it, at the end of Lethal Crisis, Clarino's closing monologue has her expressing regret that she never got to meet her youngest sibling and hoping that Second and Reminisce will look after her. Then in Proto Sphere, there's a chance they actually will meet...and then they promptly attack each other. In fact, unless you're well-prepared or just run for it, Applica's pretty likely to kill her big sister and probably doom humanity in the process. Way to go, hero.
