I've always had an interested in these "6 degrees of freedom" games, and where better to start than the good old original Descent for DOS! Classic oldschool pew-pews and explosions, through dozens of maze-like levels, on some generic journey to... I dunno, pew-pew and explode things!
I'd played some small amount of Descent 2 (I think) in my childhood, but never got far due to the controls being too confusing for me. But now I can handle it, and it controls surprisingly well even today!
