The Playstation Vita released in Japan on December 17, 2011 and in North America/Europe/Worldwide regions February 22, 2012. The portable console had a lot of success with a decent library of games. Some believe the console never reached it's true potential because of the high cost of proprietary memory cards. But nevertheless, it's a great hand held device. In this video, I just wanted to show some of the basic and standard features that were present at launch in 2011 on the PS Vita vs what the Nintendo Switch has to offer after being out for almost a year and a half.
