If you're playing stunt mode and you are shooting for score in the second stage Cascade, or if you're shooting for total mode score, I think it is best to break the enemy ball, provided you can do it and lose no more than 2.5-3 seconds. If you're going for score in later individual stages then just finish Cascade as fast as you can.

This video shows two successful attempts at breaking the ball relatively quickly, the second better than the first.

Heh, the only reason I keep putting up stunt mode videos of this stage is because this is the stage where I messed up in my full stunt mode score video. I didn't break the enemy ball.
