This video is outdated; I now know faster ways through every level pretty much. For example, you can earn almost 12,000 more points for your total score by beating Dizzy in 12 seconds rather than 32. If you want to go for score in stunt mode, I suggest looking to my Hamsterball playlist http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=7E883F0CBC915690 for speed strategies, but also break the enemy balls like I did in this video (or faster! :) ) . And you should also break the second-stage enemy ball if you can do it without losing more than three seconds (there's a video of that near the bottom of the playlist).

Be aware of an unfriendly glitch when using the "restart level" option after finishing a stage -- if you beat a stage, then choose restart, then beat the stage with a better time or score, for total score purposes and time pool purposes the game will remember the first completion score and time, not the second one. I suggest never using the "restart level" option after reaching the goal of any level in stunt mode, except the final stage Glass (where you can choose restart and the game will submit your level score, and submit your total mode score, and then you can exit the level and rollback to a previous level if you want to). Actually you could possibly take advantage of the glitch after other levels, but I don't.

I stumbled on a neat (possibly cheating) way to compete in both the single-stage scoreboards and the overall scoreboards without having to totally start over. (This is a long paragraph; don't read this unless you're really interested in maxing out your scores.) I tried to finish Warm-up fast, then I beat Cascade fast without breaking the enemy ball (do break it if you are going for the Cascade scoreboard if you can do it without losing more than 3 seconds, then rollback and just finish as fast as you can without breaking the ball if your main focus is the other levels' individual level scoreboards). Then I got 12.1 seconds in Dizzy, which is hard for me to do. Next I went on with my method for competing in individual level scoreboards: first beat Tower quickly with breaking the enemy ball, then rollback and beat it as fast as I can (not breaking the ball), then beat Up with hitting the 5-second button, then beat Neon twice like I did in Tower, then Odd twice same way (breaking both balls the first time). Next I tried to beat Glass fast with breaking the enemy ball (there's no reason to beat Glass as fast as possible without breaking the ball in stunt mode if you're going for scores because there are no levels after it to add Glass's extra time to your other level scores). But when I finished Glass I chose "restart level", just like I tell people not to do in other stages. The game did send my Glass score and total score to the scoreboards, plus I got to roll back to just after Dizzy :D My Dizzy 12.1 still intact, I went through the last five levels breaking all the enemy balls (and hitting the 5-second button in Up), in order to put up a better total score. (Actually my total score would have been a bit better than it was if I had beaten Cascade with beating the enemy ball in 15 seconds or less, but that's hard for me to do.)
