This video explains how to disassemble a PS4 Dualshock 4 Controller to replace the worn out analog sticks. It starts with the controller partially disassembled, then goes through the process. The battery is removed, then the motherboard and finally that enables the removal of the analog sticks. After the new sticks are installed it is then reassembled.
