This is a video on how to tune up your PS4 and make it run smoother specially if you do a ton of video recording and have a lot of games on your hard drive, by rebuilding you date base in safe mode.

This is the equivalent to defragmenting your hard drive on your computer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defragmentation

The process can take up to 2 hours depending on the amount of stuff on your hard drive.

After doing this my ps4 is running great. it did take a long time but I just had other stuff to do and didn't keep exact track of time but I would say it was around 2 hours.
