Donno about you, but I can't imagine it was even remotely necessary to have an NPC refer to players as an "ugly shrew" or a "****-sucking whore" (or whatever variety you happen to be subjected to) and I don't really see why Rockstar don't just tone it down. And don't cite realism as an excuse; it isn't one. I'm more than happy to be called a stinkin' outlaw, a thieving murderer, and a rotten cattle-rustler, but what bearing does my gender or sexual preferences have on my numerous criminal accomplishments? None. Is there anyone buying this game, thinking to themselves, "I wonder if the company I just gave money to will call me a lazy bitch while I play? Here's hoping!"? No. Do better, Rockstar. Do a whole lot better.
