how to fix a dns server cannot be used ps5,ps4 the dns server did not respond within the time limit.

Here i update my ps5 to 2023 released new version,but in future 2024 if they release any new update some setting location may be varying.

This solution also works on ps4 based error code diablo 4 and can't connect to dns server nw-31247-7.

Today i get the following one error notification while i try to sign in the playstation store in my ps5 console :



A DNS server can't be used. The DNS server didn't respond within the time limit. NW-102308-4

If you selected Manual under IP Address Settings or DNS Settings when you set the internet

connection for your PS5,verify that Primary DNS and Secondary DNS are set correctly.

How to solve a dns server cannot be used ps4 nw-31246-6 :


1.One of my subscriber ask to me,why it shows this kind of message and what is the meaning of this issue?.

2.Some time this is occurs due to your service provider.

3.So first of all check that wifi as well as fiber modem indicators.

4.And then goto settings - network - settings - Set Up Internet Connection.

5.And right click on your wifi network name and then select "Advanced Settings".

6.Now you can change the DNS Settings to Manual.

7.And then change the primary dns as well as secondary dns addresses.

8.Finally don't forget to save this changes.

9.So i hope once it's update the new dns address,finally this problem is solved in permanently.
