This is my favorite place for EXP & Gil farming, still works perfectly in 2024.
1. Equip everyone with Rainbow Pendant to prevent confusion status (purchased at Lestallum) and be sure to equip Noctis with Tech Turbocharger (in the video, I forgot to equip it).
Optional: Craft Expericast III with 96 EXP Bonus.
2. Camp and eat Lasagna al Forno (Cooking skill Lv. 9) for +100% EXP gain bonus. The food ingredients can be purchased at Meldacio Hunter HQ, Cape Caem and Old Lestallum.
3. Change console / pc clock to the 6th day, the location you get to fight Cactuars will be in a narrow path, making it easier for group killing.
4. Prompto's Gravisphere is super helpful, use it a lot! Note that Gravisphere damage is based on magic stats so equipping magic related accessories increases the damage even further.
5. After winning the quest, fast travel back to the car, sell Mega-Potion, Phoenix Down and Remedy for Gil.
