“Saber Interactive’s Evil Dead game delayed. Saber Interactive's Evil Dead game will no longer release this year as originally planned, and is now targeting a PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC launch in February 2022. Evil Dead: The Game casts players as familiar faces from all across the Evil Dead franchise, bringing them together in co-operative union to battle the forces of darkness - chainsaws (and other assorted melee and ranged weapons) in hand. Adding an extra wrinkle to the core co-op action is a PvP component in which another player becomes the Kandarian Demon itself, able to roam the map in a bid to thwart the humans' plans.

Aside from talking about this unannounced PlayStation 5 exclusive entry in the Souls series, Shspeshal Nick also revealed that the Wipeout series will make a comeback during this console generation. This new entry in the series, which is planned to be a PlayStation 5 / PlayStation VR 2 game is in early development. The next From Software title to release on PC and consoles is the aforementioned Elden Ring. Built upon many of the features made popular by the Souls series, the game's worldbuilding and lore have been written in collaboration with George R.R. Martin, the man behind the A Song of Ice and Fire novels.

“The popular free-to-play portal shooter Splitgate is coming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with some "obvious" upgrades, developer 1047 Games said during a developer QA this weak on Twitch. It's unclear exactly what "enhancements" Splitgate will get whenever it officially launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. However, 4K and 120fps were thrown around as possible improvements for the free-to-play shooter. Furthermore, a release date for this upgraded port was been announced. Despite being available in early access since 2019, Splitgate has exploded in popularity. It combines elements of Halo multiplayer and Portal gameplay to create a fast-paced competitive shooter that requires timing and foresight. The game's become so popular that the servers have struggled to hold up. Issues like long wait times should be fixed now that the number of servers has risen.”
