PSX: Afraid Gear (J) [English Tutorial]
0Beginner mode is essentially an extended tutorial, where they introduce you to one thing at a time. The game looks like it could be kind of fun. It's got the customization of a game like Front Mission 3 or Armored Core, but a little more complicated. The battles are more like an RPG, where you choose a move and then wait for the animation to finish.
I tried to do Main Game first, and that was a mistake. If you don't spend your money carefully in the Main Game, you'll end up without enough to buy an engine at all, and you'll be stuck before you even begin. Do yourself a favor and play through the tutorial mode. Not only does it have anime cutscenes, but you'll learn the basics of the game, which seems like it could be pretty tough to master.
