This level has been seen on YouTube before. It was the second demo of the project. Also, out of all the levels I made, this level remains the least edited. About 95% of the map is the same.
This level is special to me because it is based on my favorite map of all time, Threshold of pain. Out of all the maps we have seen so far, I think this is the toughest.
This is also the first map we meet the nightmare imp. I decided to leave it this late because I wanted to wait to the halfway point in the wad, so the weaker monsters can be more of a threat again.
The nightmare imps are far more dangerous than regular imps. They are faster, deadlier and a lot more accurate. Their fireballs are incredibly quick and they can take some time to get use to. On this map, they have a deadly entrance as it s a surprise attack.
Oh there is also a Cyberdemon at the end as well.
