On to the heavily animal themed Major Circuit (only Don Flamenco breaks the pattern, and he's close enough to "Flamingo" for me). The main theme of the major circuit is recognizing patterns and using special techniques to get around the various boxer's gimmicks.

The boxers are iconic, largely because of their gimmicks. Don Flamenco is probably the easiest fight in the game once you know how to beat him. King Hippo is famous for his weakness as well. Great Tiger is kind of interesting, and Bald Bull is just a tough fighter with a super-punch you have to learn how to deal with.
