Punon (Hebrew: פּוּנֹן) is one of the stations of the Exodus mentioned in the Hebrew Bible; a place where the ancient Israelites stopped in their Exodus from Egypt. It presumably refers to the region in southern Jordan now known as Wadi Faynan, which in biblical times was a major center for copper mining, and has been specifically identified with the Iron Age settlement of Khirbat Faynan.
