As a scientist, you choose a problem. If you solve it, you feel good, and you find a new problem. If someone else solves it, you feel bad, and you find a new problem. In either case, you are constantly losing your job and looking for a new one. AI and ML are getting so good that they are solving our problems. Is there still a place for human thought and insight? Is our goal to put ourselves out of business?
