Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Puyo Puyo 2 on the SEGA Genesis, released in Japan in 1994, and not released to Americans until the Wii Shop in 2008. A whole 14 years later!

This game introduces a new staple in the Puyo Series and that is called countering. You can counter an emeny's combo with your own to remove garbage puyos they send and possibly even counter back to them! We make our way through the tower to go reach Satan. That just sounded odd as hell didn't it?
