The Saturn port introduced a lot of new content, like the re-introduction of pre-battle cutscenes. I turned them off but the final cutscene wasn't affected, pretty much all versions of the game had that. The game also re-introduced an "easy mode", which was a beginner's course, much like the one in Puyo Puyo 1. The game also introduced an expert "Rally" mode, where you fight every single opponent in the game, probably not going to play that. Also, in normal mode, you can select who you want to battle without a roulette.

However, there are some things wrong here... well, with the emulator I was using, at least. The board doesn't shake, and the floor just opens up and the Puyos disappear when the player loses. I've switched to a better emulator now.
