Puzzle and Action Tant-R (タントアール) - Final mini-game and Ending (Mega Drive Ver.)
4After a hiatus from both my channel and the Puzzle & Action endings, I decided to end them both with this video.
This Mega Drive port has graphics that are almost arcade-perfect, but held back a bit by the console's limitations. The same thing applies to the music and SFX quality as well.
This port also introduces a free mode where you can play and practice the mini-games at will, something that would be retained in almost every home port of the Puzzle & Action games, except for the Sega Saturn port of this game. There is also a party mode as well, where players compete for a set amount of wins. Both modes can be played with up to 4 players, therefore resulting in the introduction of 2 new characters, one of whom would later make a cameo appearance in the 2nd stage of Puzzle & Action Treasure Hunt.
The screen-darkening effect from the arcade version is kept in, but the music completely and abruptly cuts off when you make the correct choice, instead of slowly fading out. The usual SFX for choosing the right thing doesn't even play.
