Hope you guys enjoy my 216-220 (Take 3) on Highway to the Danger Room
Unfortunately, because of the difficulty setting in this world, I won’t be able to attempt an endless run without using premium plants. The constant portals and the sheer amount of random zombies being thrown in make it genuinely tough just to finish a single level, let alone push into endless. With the current levels my plants are at, it’s not really possible to keep up with the chaos.
I purposely chose to keep my attacking plants capped at level 3. For me, maxing them out makes the game feel a little too easy, so keeping them at level 3 gives the zombies more of a chance to rush and actually put pressure on my defenses. On the other hand, I prefer having my defensive plants at higher levels since they’re meant to hold the line and give me that backbone of protection. It keeps the balance fair and makes the runs feel more strategic and fun.
I definitely understand the appeal of doing a no-premium run—I enjoy challenging myself like that too—but in this case the randomness and spikes in difficulty would just turn the run into frustration rather than strategy. I’d rather focus on making progress where it’s actually possible and enjoyable.
I really appreciate your support and I hope you keep enjoying the other runs I’m working on.
