Welcome back to Pwnery's Penny Arcade, and Episode 3, the Next 30 of Ixion - a game that is seemingly all things to all people. For me, this game pulls flavors of Sim City, Star Trek Deep Space 9, Wing Commander Privateer, and even bits of Fallout. This game is extremely procedural, and one wrong build move, or administrative change can spell disaster - however, you may not realize it for days, or even weeks later. You take on the role of the Administrator of the Tiqqun (Tye-Coon) - a massive, and eventually mobile space station tasked with the herculean chore of spreading humanity into the cosmos before it goes extinct on a fast-expiring Earth. What begins as an administrative test will quickly become something far more desperate with what can only be described as a technological twist. If you're a micro-manager type, this game was tailor-made for you, however even the layman or casual player can grasp the concept and find their own path through the cosmos. Either way, you'll be welcomed by epic scenery, great theatrical cutscenes, and a fantastic backdrop and soundtrack that should keep you entertained for hours, days, heck - weeks on end. This is one of those "Holy cow, where did my weekend go?" kind of titles.

Today we pick up the pace and really start to get infrastructure going - for how long is anyone's guess.
