Okay Story time. staubhase on tumblr http://staubhase.tumblr.com/ Is an awesome person Just want to say that. Really awesome. I wanted to do the bread update and well I needed hats for the bread box. I mentioned that on Tumblr and stubhase who I was friends with on Deviant art (I like to think our friendship started there) well She offered some hats due to her not playing TF2 any more, Then she offered her keys oh baby I couldn't just take it so I told her I would draw some thing for her, She then suggested Pyro....Okay I will be 100% honest when she said that I panicked, I mean I am not good at drawing the tf2 mercenaries though I have been told that my Demo head is pretty good http://fav.me/d7iu72k not on here mind you but other places....any way....Anyone who has ever drawn Pyro knows how hard Pyro can be to draw look at the gas mask.
So I looked at my many tf2 model references I have collected and looked for one Pyro one that made me not cry in fear. Of course it was a side view.
Now when I talked to stubhase about it I mentioned if I couldn't do the Pyro would Balloonicorn be okay, she said yes so that was a good back up plan.
So While drawing Pyro I though they looked a little lonely so I drew Balloonicorn in front of them and well I thought awe they are in love.
I posted the Doodle I did on tumblr and then I thought Stubhase deserves more than a doodle. So I decided to make it into a final picture like this and a Speed paint So um BEHOLD.
As for the color reason, Well for some reason everyone love the forbidden love of cross faction. And because I like blue balloonicorn more than the pink one. Shush.
So yea after coloring it I did a light blue and pink gradient and then a thing and well yea.
