About time i youtube'd this stuff. This is for advanced strafers only. Trust me, this shit isnt easy to master. And there is absolutely no reason you should master this if you're only going to play regular Q3/QL. This is pretty much for those who want to compete in defrag runs or master strafe pads etc.

First part shows a scripted circle jump. Its about as close to perfect as you're likely to see, so look at this and you'll know what you should be aiming for.

Second is a demo of mrks giving a quick intro to "airchange" technique, which is pretty much necessary for all high level strafe pads.

Third is a well performed single beat strafe on bliss_beta2a orange2bonus, which was regarded as the hardest strafe pad to be mastered.

Fourth up is a half beat strafe on bliss_beta2a orange2bonus.

Last is a demo of a scripted strafe run. These strafe pads are impossible for humans to do, and were a challenge by cgaz (iirc) for people who were able to script. It was supposed to be darn near impossible for even scripted runs, but eventually someone managed after like 5 years.
