I decided not to do the test without case foam since I really didn't like how it sounded and I don't think many people would use it like that. Also the silicon just completely takes away any character in the board and mutes it way too much.
The QK65 is an absolute banger besides those points though. Yes it may need case foam to help it out but honestly, $220 is a fui*** bargain deal and I recommend anyone to get this if you want a nice budget-friendly gasket mount AND it weighs a hefty amount.
