The newest video in the QT30E series is Bacon: The Game, played on my iPhone 14 Pro.

Going in i assumed that it was going to be a fun goofy game. and it is sometimes. but the premise is surprisingly difficult. Get bacon on stuff sounds like it should be easy but it's not. i played through the first 50 levels and it's clear that their difficulty is random. some times i was going through levels first try. other times it was taking tens of tries.

This would be nice if it wasn't for the fact that this experience was disrupted by adverts. unfortunately, this is a game that won't tell you an advert is coming, it won't ask permission to play it. it'll just play it. this means it doesn't just happen in game, but i had one in the menus too. There's a stage that asks to use the camera. not once did i assume that it was going to use it, i thought that it was using the notification smartly to create one in game. i thought it was rather clever and fun. then later not once but twice it used my camera without warning.

Whilst this game maybe fun and interesting, i can't recommended it for those playing outside. with so many ads and camera privacy issues, it's best left for home wi-fi.

The song used when you complete a stage is fun though.
