0The newest video in the QT30E series is on the PS3 PSN downloadable Tower Defense game Crystal Defenders by Square Enix.
I kinda had some memories of this game being a port of a mobile game, but i looked it up afterwards and it's an iPod game as well as an iPhone and iPad game. this also came out on Wii, PS3, PSP, and Xbox One. I was surprised by the lack of a tutorial. it seems that there was nothing added to this port other than bundling all 3 "W" versions of the game into one package.
In this video i only had time for W1 and it's two maps. but even then i was surprised how difficult it felt, i admit that could also be because i'm unfamiliar with this genre having last play PixelJunk Monsters many years ago. there's a tutorial to read, but other than that it feels very much like a game you play and learn from playing. i was surprised to see that the online leaderboards all seem to work!
