The newest video in the QT30E series is the #PS4 version of The Pedestrian. I had seen screenshots for this game so i had an idea how the puzzle aspect might work, but i was curious how you'd go from puzzle to puzzle. I've tried a few games like this, #Echochrome and Humanity being two of the bigger ones, but in those games i tend to get frustrated and stuck so i haven't finished either of them. This makes QT30E's quick look at games the perfect opportunity to have a look at The Pedestrian.

Other than the tutorial ending a tad too soon, i found my time with The Pedestrian to be wonderful. graphically, it looks nice and crisp without turning my PS4's fans up to 100. the world doesn't look photo realistic, but it looks fine and varied and matches the places where the puzzle, and your character, are. the difficulty seemed to ramp up nice and slow and when i did make a mistake, it meant the solution was easy as these early puzzles very mostly logical. so if one solution didn't work, it probably meant there was only one other thing to try. There was also a good progression of puzzle mechanics. The only downside i had was the couple of occasions where the game seem to freeze. it must be a combination of saving and loading in the background. on a current generation platform it probably isn't an issue, but on PS4 it was and it lasted long enough for it to be distracting.
