The newest video in a new series called QT30E is on Trackmania on PS4.

In the most recent Online Saturday video, https://youtu.be/we766gY1WPw, i played Trackmania and came away from it not really being able to recommend it. In the comments, i had a nice little chat with @Arcsinx and it was point out to me that i missed the single player campaign mode. So today's QT30E video is simply me playing that mode.

I will say i came away from this video having had more fun than i did in the Online Saturday Video. but that's not to say this mode doesn't have it's own issues. I have no idea what's wrong with the disappearing menus, the game's inability to consistently do a 3,2,1 countdown, or even tell me how to restart a race. But at least it does give me the times for each medal and, after a race, even lets me race against local ghosts.

But one OK mode in a game does make it hard to recommended it. But at least it does have something. Most importantly, it's a free something. If you're someone who enjoys chasing a gold medal time, maybe like me you obsessed over the license mode in Gran Turismo, and anjoy doing it at your own pace. then this is for you. an added bonus is that these tracks do rotate out so every so often there's a new challenge.
